Thank you Damian for keeping it real! I absolutely hate it when adults pretend that problems like sexism can simply be fixed with a brave statement. Damian told it like it is which is refreshing, because now I don’t feel like I’ve failed if I can’t simply fix my problems with one sentence!
Log in to replyI love OK Go!! He answered these questions great.
Log in to replyI LOVE THIS
Log in to replyreally great advice and his smile at the end killed me :)

Thank you Damian for keepin’ it real + looking so good + playing awesome music + for spreading awareness of the sexism all around. X
Log in to replyteen boys with gross hairdos that listen to minor threat were(/are?) my lifeblood
Log in to replyi envy that! boys at my life are so plain and typical of casual. talking about the same thing, dress up the same thing, listen to the same thing which means pop music. don’t be surprise if they think about the same thing! so boring.
Log in to replythis comment is a marriage invitation from me for damian kulash. seriously, damian. take it into consideration. get back to me.
Log in to reply@diny Same! I have a mini crush on him now and guys at my school all wear Axe, flirt with popular girls, and listen to pop music.
Log in to replyMaybe I’m crazy but I’ve always felt like my life has been FLYING by. And it’s moving faster and faster every year. :( People who feel like their lives are moving slowly – enjoy it!
Log in to replyNow I finally HAD to register because I was like:
Log in to replyOh my God: Damian Kulash talking about life and sexism?

Log in to replyMy love for him was just taken to a higher level. omg.
Log in to reply“The best people make the worst mistakes.” I don’t know how much truth it holds, but it definitely helped me get some feelings out. As soon as he said that I felt the waterworks coming. Loved the video.
Log in to replyHehehe
Log in to replywow, great stuff! why do we have to feel like we ‘must’ know everything when we don’t?

Note to Beth from California:
Log in to replyDeveloping a thick skin is NOT the same thing as becoming desensitized. Developing a thick skin towards sexism just means you learn to realize that you don’t have to take it personally. It doesn’t mean you learn to keep your mouth shut. It’s not about you, it’s about something bigger. It’s about the shitty way society teaches us boys and girls to behave towards one another, and it’s up to all of us to break the cycle. Don’t ever ignore your instincts. They’re there to keep you safe! If something makes you uncomfortable, take a minute, put it in as much perspective as you can, and address the thing, not the person.
Real cool, practical advice. Thanks Damian.
Log in to replyWhat a lovely and delicious man. Just going to go and download everything OK GO ever made then.
Log in to replyomg he is so cute period
Log in to replyCan we all just play 1:13-1:28 over and over and over until we curl into fetal position and begin sucking our thumbs
