Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

These are so great- I especially love the ones with the plum skirts and the girls covering each others’ eyes!
You should call it “Back in time!” get it? or “pictures that ground you” or…”After working in the dirty ground all month here is something rest your back.” OR…..”On what grounds did we put these in the background?” or…”Bringing the background back” or “come back to me so I can be grounded” or “bringing you back to things grounded in time” or “coffee grounds” or “getting you off the ground and straightening your back” or “back-words. Oh wait, they are pictures.” or “back-up and ground-down”
Bamzyeah. Or something. I feel like I just rapped….except it was a rant.
