Some Velvet Morning
These pictures were taken on the morning after a sleepover. A lot of the time when Zoe and I have sleepovers and end up with nothing to do, we just take pictures. Zoe and I both took the pictures (we used two cameras). Zoe and I are both 16. We’ve both lived in China for a long time, and both love film photography, but we’ve never really organized any photo-taking sessions with any real objectives in mind other than just…taking photos for fun. The other girl is Ella. She was also at the sleepover! I am the one with the long brown hair and the union jack clutch, Zoe is the blonde in the floral maxi and Ella is the one with the brunette bob and cheetah print skirt. The three of us in the photos have been really good friends for something like 10 years, so we thought that it’d be appropriate if we took photos together for the Girl Gang issue! I have a blog and a Tumblr, and Zoe has a Tumblr.
