    yay! candle! I loved it when that was the background. it’s a gorgeous painting and also every time I looked at it the beginning of teen age riot would start playing in my head. haha.

    February’s theme really should just be “margot tenenbaum” since she pops up so much on rookie (not that i’m complaining, i love her)!

    sooooo many of my favourite pictures ever in the moodboard there… the top left from fudge magazine, wild thing abbey, autumn’s perfect-couch-matching-yellow-dress, maurice sendak, tim walker’s mattress stack… the best…

    The edward scissorhands one is wonderfully strange. The film is definitely in my top 5 of all time. PLEASE OH PLEASE do an article on the film; on its creepiness, fashion and the philosophical aspects…..

    That creepy town from Edward Scissorhands is MY town. It’s a subdivision called Carpenter’s Run in Land O’ Lakes, FL. I live about five minutes from there. The houses aren’t actually pastel colored.
