All the Pretty Horses

Vintage shirt and jacket, Luella skirt, Leanne’s own hat and boots, Urban Outfitters ring, patch by Eleanor.
I have always been fascinated by people’s obsessions with horses. Horseback riding isn’t just a hobby or a sport, but a lifestyle in itself. Twenty-year-old Leanne has been riding for 16 years, running her own stables for three, and is now a professional show jumper. This is a series of portraits of Leanne and her love for horses, styled suitably Luella-esque!

so beautiful.

Log in to replyAww this is the sweetest thing. I used to love horses but then when I was 8 I went horseback riding only to find out I’m deathly allergic to horses. Damn biological inconveniences…
This a beautiful photo shoot nonetheless.
Log in to replyI love the fact that she’s so passionate about something and makes a career out of it. Very much jealous and awed but it.

Log in to replyMan, I used to be obsessed with horses. I never had my own pony because I couldn’t afford it, but I worked at my local stables, went riding every week, I still have all my pony books somewhere… I quit after a bad fall and then my depression and anxiety started, but now I’m over all that (over a decade later!) I’d really like to start again.
Hmmm.
