I remember the first episode I watched was in the first series with Rose and the 9th Doctor. I thought it was weird (since I apparently had no taste as a 13 year old) and then got hooked upon catching reruns two years later.

I never understood the thing with Doctor Who (it always freaked me out when i was little) but I have a bunch of friends who are big fans, and are constantly referencing it, memorising the chronological order of the names of the actors who have played the Doctor thus far etc etc. One time they all wore red Fez’s to school, a reference i didn’t understand but I’m guessing Rookie-Reading-Doctor-Who fans will!
