Have you ever fallen down a rabbit hole and ended up in a fantasy land filled with mad tea parties, an evil queen, and a cat who grins just a tad too much? No? Well, you’re about to now with Alice.
Here are 10 dreamy and whimsical songs to help you explore Wonderland.

I can’t believe White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane isn’t here…
Log in to replyclassic.
Yeah, that’s a good song, but I didn’t really want to include literal “Alice in Wonderland” themed songs on the playlist. :)
Log in to replyYEAH that’s what i was thinking! but great mix either way :)
Log in to replyperfect
Log in to replyomgomgomg how does this hazel person know about stereolab? they’re the best band ever besides beach house right? i don’t even.. eeeeppp!!!
Log in to replytheir album “Dots and Loops” is the best!
Log in to replysound dust is my fave
Log in to replyI said aloud “STEREOLAB!?” They are the coolest band no one knows of. My friend said they sound like elevator music on acid.
Log in to replymy mom said they sounded like caribbean music… i don’t know how she got that
Log in to replyI think Rabbit Heart by Florence and the Machine should be on here… It’s so dreamy and amazing. Especially the video (although I guess you don’t care about the video while making a playlist ha)… And I also think you guys should do a background with a shot of the opening of that video, where Florence has the glittery fabric in front of her face… it just seems so… ROOKIE.
Log in to replyI completlly agree. I love Florence and that song/video is one of her best!!!! :)
Log in to replyStrawberry Alarm Clock! So glad to see them here. They were the first thing I thought of when I saw “psychedelia” in the “Attention, good people.” box. Thanks!
Log in to replyNice picks! I am so happy that Hazel added Neon Indian to the mix. They are one of my favorite bands and they even more amazing live!
Log in to replyhazel, thank you for turning me on to strawberry alarm clock
Log in to replyAren’t they remarkable?
Log in to replyVery Cool.I always love the playlists!! WONDERFUL.
Log in to replyYES I’ve been waiting for Animal Collective to show up on one of these! Definitely one of my favorite bands of all time.
Log in to reply“Of longing and otherness” by Hannah fury always makes me think of when Alice wakes up…
Log in to replyTrippy songs. O.o
Log in to replyawesome playlist, I looove Alice in wonderland! Alice by Pogo is also good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQuqeLBTetA&feature=related

Log in to replywhere did you get the illustrations? its epic *_*
Log in to replyAMAZING! I love Alice with all my heart, along with every depiction or reinterpretation of her. I even kinda like the Tim Burton live-action one (the wardrobe is amazing, okay)
hmmm how about “My Love” by The Bird and the Bee? It has no direct reference but somehow it reminds me of Alice. Must be the whimsical voice and the part about falling :)
Log in to replyoh, this mix is lovely and perf.
Log in to replyGardenhead! Yes! Thank you!
Log in to replyProps to whoever created this playlist for not adding “Electric Feel” by MGMT– the amount of Alice-related playlists on 8tracks that have made “Electric Feel” the first song is enough to make you rip your hair out.
This music is fantastic, and the ones I’ve never heard are amazing and now adding to my iTunes!
Log in to replyStereolab <3
Log in to replyThere’s another song I love about Alice in wonderland, Alice by Noir Désir (a french band).

I love all the songs of this band (this is the best band ever).
Log in to replyI love how Animal Collective is so versatile it makes a place in a lot of Rookie’s playlists. Every time I comment on these AC is all I talk about sorry. THIS WHOLE PLAYLIST IS GOOD
Log in to replyEvery playlist should end with Neutral Milk Hotel. No, really.
Log in to replyGreat playlist! I’m currently reading the book!

Log in to replyROOKIE IS NOW MY FAVORITE THING EVER WITH THE ADDITION OF NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL, especially a song off On Avery Island. I feel like Pree Sisters Swallowing a Donkey’s Eye could also have been added :)

Log in to replyMy over-tired, barely chugging along caffeinated self just laughed for the most ridiculously long time at what I thought said RookieVag instead of RookieMag next to the playlist name.
Log in to replyYes, I’m actually a 12-year-old boy.
