He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s the Pilot. Love Grandaddy. They are doing a couple shows together later this year!!! I HAVE to go to one, I’ll die if I don’t.
Hell yes I love this idea! I have a picture of saturns rings from national geographic and thought itd be cool to make it into an outfit(and it was). My own playlist is *~~stars// and I recommend Chinatown (grizzly nothing), but not tonight (depeche mode), Lately Deuxieme (Memoryhouse), knife (grizzly bear), bury us alive (statfucker), falling (Florence and the machine), stop the dams (gorillaz), and of course Underneath the stars (the cure).
I have a feeling that this month is gonna be so awesome!!
I love this playlist! All my favorite songs fits this month’s theme. Here is what my 10 would look like…
Daddy’s Car – Cardigans
She’s So High – Tal Bachman
Such Great Heights – Postal Service
Letters from the Sky – Civil Twilight
Satellite – Dave Matthews Band
Pink Moon – Nick Drake
1983… (A Merman I Should Turn to Be) – Hendrix
Venus as a boy – Bjork or Ray
Loved by the Sun – Tangerine Dream
Renaissance Affair – Hooverphonic
I’d be tempted to go for “Another Girl, another Planet” by The Only Ones- but a less obvious one would be “Do the Astral Plane by Flying Lotus. There are probably hundreds more brilliant songs suitable for this playlist- but this is great.
Same for me! It stopped working for the “Les filles qui chantent” playlist, which was SO frustrating since I’m both French and obsessed by French female singers from the sixties!

Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥
