Well hello there. Next month's theme is IMITATION. We're looking for written and visual work that has to do with mimicry, replication, re-enactment, dramatization, novelization, repetition. Not to mention: camouflage, fakes, counterfeits, “authenticity,” “reality.” Send your stuff here, and thanks. ♥

Seriously beautiful though.
Log in to replySome of these are, like, so trippy, man. I am loving the hazy-summertime-in-a-small-town vibe.

Log in to replyI’ve always loved Olivia’s work (but these have a new dimension) UGH THAT WAS A HORRIBLE PUN I HAD TO PUT IT IN PARENTHESES. Who am I?

You’re so amazing Olivia.
Log in to replyand what is your relation to mustachioed man, hmm? ;)
Log in to replyAwwww thank you everyone!!! Luv y’all
Log in to replyI am that person who, when at the cinema, has to leave the movie if it’s filmed with hand held cameras because I get such appalling motion sickness. Unfortunately for me, these photos have the same effect. But no doubt they are amazing as usual!
Log in to replyReally cool use of animated GIFs! The photos are already fab, and now they MOVE! I love 4, 10, and 13.
Log in to replyI love the effect used!
Log in to replySome will say that I’m annoying but i don’t really see the point of the effect. I love the pictures really but seeing them moving kind of disappointed me.

Log in to replyDAAAAMN OLIVIA
Log in to replyREALLY FREAKING GOOD…
especially 4 and 11.
I know my comment is super late, I catch up on Rookie when I have a chance! I could not NOT tell you how great these are..
Log in to replyI’m picky with good stuffs: I always want them to be better, because I know they can since they are already exceptionally good.
So here it is : some of these look like what I see when I’m veryyyy tired and get out of my bed too fast. (Like the flower pictures and close-ups) It’s quite hard to explain but its kind of a mix between vertigo and a hazy version of life…
Log in to replyThat’s pretty cool, BUT when I see pictures like 6, 9, 13, 14 and maybe 7 it’s not so great anymore. These last pics literally seem so real that you could cross the screen and live in it. Neither a movie, nor a picture, it kinds of remind of these 3D images you move from fright to left to endlessly see a kittykitten meow at you with tearful-cute eyes. I don’t know how to express that properly and besides my english is not as good as I wish it could be but 6-9-13-14 are BLIMEYBLODYAMAZING !
