Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

Log in to replyThe CLOTHES!!! Pure awesomeness! So much inspiration!
Log in to replyLove the traintracks pictures, I’ve wanted to go to one for ages but am scared I’d get killed and on the news it would say something like ‘idiot 15 year old who decided it would be a good idea to take amateur pictures on a live railway’ or something. The ones in the house are beautiful too, is it abandoned?
Log in to replyyeah, you gotta be careful and not listen to music or be unaware or anything! that place is abandoned, my friends call it the mansion and i think it used to a retirement home of sorts? we used to be able to get inside and run around the whole place, but now they have alarms and although it’s huge and with tons of rooms we had to be really quick and eventually bolt out of there once the alarm went off! (because one of us started playing the piano… SmArT!!! lol.) hmmm yeah adventuring and being free sometimes comes with the need for street smarts or whateva!!! so be aware! if you guys like anything about these photos, consider getting into researching this photographer and others around her: flickr.com/photos/indisposable/sets/72157626003404493/ (do your best detective work!!) sometimes their whole lives feel like the best example of summer freedom, running wild! enjoy the possibilities of making your dreams realities??!??!?!?
