Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

Log in to replyI JUST came back from Portland. These are making me miss that place so much more.
Hi, I absolutely love this shoot by the way!
HELP!
Off topic: On my blog I’ve been getting traffic sources from this dodgy porn site and I don’t know why as I have never been on the site before.
Is it just a spam link or something?
And is there a way I can stop the website from accessing my blog? Because my blog doesn’t have anything to do with that sort of thing and I don’t want it to be referenced or linked with it really :S
Thank you so much for any help/advice in advance :)
Log in to replythese are absolutely gorgeous. i’d really like if rookie could do an article teaching rookie readers how to achieve that dream-like quality in photos as seen above. I’d really appreciate it if it was a digital photography tutorial because film photography (to me at least) is much easier. anyone else agree? thank you!!
Log in to replyThese are entirely stunning Olivia! How do you get the almost grainy look in some of these images? (not the polaroids) is it something that you do deliberately or just an effect the camera that you use has on them? Thanks x
Log in to replyhey gracie! that’s my dog’s name! and my middle name! and my sister’s middle name! in photo #8 it is achieved by a high ISO but in the others it is done in post! thanks so much grrl.
Log in to replyOh these pictures are so Moonrise Kingdom-esque… I’m missing summer already!
