Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

I think some of the pieces, like this one, this month will be important to me, like when I’m 38.
Because right now I keep worrying about whether I ought to do what I really want with my life or is I’m too cowardly for it.
But these remind me of how much fun and how great creativity is.
Log in to replyYou’re not a coward.
Log in to replyIf you were a coward, you wouldn’t even be daring to ask that question of yourself.
I totally know what you mean. I’ve been unsure about studying acting for ages, due to stage fright, self-conciousness (blah blah blah) but I’m going to go for it! Because I figure that’s the only way those things are going to get better, as well as because I’ve been obsessed with acting since I was nine :)
Log in to replyfor those who live that soliloquy. oh hamlet your so whiny
Log in to replyGreat photos, I really like the frames and the ‘aura’ that they have!
Fashion in Pepperland
Log in to replyThese are wonderful. The world truly is a stage, and you’ve captured some of the best scenes.
Log in to replywow, I really love hamlet and quote there made smile. That soliloquy is me everyday. so angsty man. XD
Log in to replyOh, Hamlet…. Haha everybody should go here and laugh your butt off about Hamlet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnvgq8STMGM
Log in to replyThis looks like the coolest Shakespeare production ever! And I really like the frames :)
Log in to replyI love those picture frames so much! and great photos!

this collages and frames are amazing and super super super inspirational!
Log in to replyThis album just reminds me of all the crazy drama kids I’m friends with!
Also the quote “All the world’s a stage” is actually from As You Like It, not Hamlet. Though both are great plays :)
Log in to replyI think that they mean ‘Thus conscience doth make cowards of us all’ which is from Hamlet.
All the world’s a stage is from AYLI though :)
Great, great frames, I feel so inspired! When I see that photo albums are only 10 pictures long I feel sad bc they’re so few but these are SO good that I didn’t feel a single more picture was needed to add to the magic. Quality over quantity
Log in to replyGorgeous pics…I’m such a theater nerd *-*
Log in to replyAnd I want the dress in picture # 10. I do.

Log in to replyI’m getting a 404 error on the next article …
Log in to replyOn “The Drama I’d Been Craving”? Hmm, have you tried opening it in another browser? (Sometimes that helps, I don’t know why.)
Log in to replyI’m using Safari and I’m getting the same 404 “this page does not exist” error.
Log in to replyOK, I’m going to look into it. Sorry about this!

Log in to replyOh that last one! I am in love!
Log in to replyLauren, you’re the successor to the Kenneth Anger throne.
Log in to replyIt’s photo shoots like this that remind me why i love Rookie so damn much. The eyeliner! The blush! The rejection of traditional gender roles! I really do love Rookie. Y’all are such a great thing in the sea of gross teen mags.
Log in to replywow these are amazing, i wish i could be courageous enough to wear something like this. i love amazing original clothes but i constantly allow the fear of what other people think get in the way of expressing myself. cowardice was never an admirable trait, and i deplore it in myself.
Log in to replyThis is one of the most original ideas Ive seen in a long time.
Log in to replyI love this with my whole heart
Log in to replyBeautiful photos. Everyone already said everything i wanted to, but…7th reminds me of myself a lot.
