Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

My school prom was not nearly this magical. Still, I had a great time. If you have the chance, everyone, go. Even if it’s not considered the coolest event. It’s memorable and corny and a bit overhyped, but that’s what makes it so special :)

Log in to replySuch great photos – I especially love n 17.
Log in to replyEveryone just looks so super awesome!
these are wonderful and beautiful.
Log in to replyWonderful as usually :)
But there’s one thing that bothers me: am I right that Rookie is kinda sponsored by Urban Outfitters?
Log in to replyBecause i don’t find their ‘eat less’ and Jewish star t-shirts (with a little bit of searching on the internet i could probably make that list longer) very tactful and when i saw conversation about it on Tumblr there wasn’t much of a responds from Rookie-girls…
Are these Urban Outfit controversial actions like the new taboo?!
Our road trip this summer was a sponsored by Urban Outfitters, not our company/site. I don’t find those T-shirts very tactful either and if I’m not mistaken the company pulled them from their stores.
Log in to replythis is perfect.

number 4, TAVI AND PETRA HOW DO YOU LOOK THIS GOOD??? I know we’ve had a vintage prom dress article, but how about a how to get ready and just extra stuff, because I have my first ever end of school prom coming up this year and I need HELP xoxox
Log in to replyIs it just me or does the girl on the left looks crazily like Grimes?
P.S I here Australia’s pretty good for road trips?
You know, whatever I’m just sayin’… You guys might enjoy it perhaps you know… 2013? Am I being subtle enough?
