Masquerade Ball

To celebrate Halloween AND the Canadian release of Rookie Yearbook One, we had a costume party on Saturday night at Magic Pony in Toronto.
Here are some snapshots of the awesome costumes we saw that night, all courtesy of Magic Pony, except where indicated (this one, for example, came from Julia Pohl-Miranda from Drawn and Quarterly).
Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to put names to everyone’s faces. If you spy your mug in any of these photos, let us know in the comments and we’ll ID you.

Once we are a gigantic empire I hope we have a spacecraft that takes us everywhere to meet Rooks everywhere. But also: we are not that special! These events will still be really fun if they’re reader-organized. We try to reblog any info about reader-organized Rookie events we see on our tumblr. But ultimate goal is, um, world domination.
