Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno, aka Best Coast, aka California’s biggest supporters, have a brand-new video, which we’re premiering here. It’s for the song “Do You Love Me Like You Used To” from their new album The Only Place, and it was shot during a recent show at the Santa Monica Pier by director Mariana Blanco. Enjoy their sunny, West Coast dreaminess and pretend it’s still summer.

To celebrate the release of Rookie Yearbook One, we’re throwing a free, all-ages party with Urban Outfitters this Saturday, November 10, from 7 to 10 PM, at Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles (1520 N. Cahuenga Blvd.). We’ll be signing books, and then Best Coast will play a show, and then we will all dance. You should come if you can! ♦

AHHH. I’m so glad I’ve seen this. Even though it saddens me that I didn’t see them perform in Santa Monica because I had school but I’m seeing them tomorrow with a couple of my friends and getting to meet other rookies and It’s just gonna be a great day and this just helps kick it off! Also this helps get through all the wind that has been terrorizing LA these past two days.
