Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

Log in to replyOh god so good sososo good. This reminds me of a group of girls my older cousins hung out with in their apartment complex in the 90s. The styling. The set. I’m in heaven.

Log in to replyI NEED to know how these gifs/illustrations are made!
Log in to replyHi,
Log in to replyFor the gifs, you can make these like you’d do other gifs with GIMP, Photoshop or a website like that: http://gifninja.com/
Or that: http://picasion.com/
So, depending, on gif ninja:
You have multiple photos showing movement and want to make a gif… upload these all and you drag them in the order of the movement, then you can change how fast the animation is.
You have only one photo and want to draw tears, for example: make multiple copies on your computer and add one tear in the corner of the eyes the first photo, two on the cheek in the second, more tears rolling down the cheek in the last… then upload them all, order them in the order of how tears roll and do the same as before.
I don’t know if I’m clear. The last time I did a gift I was 11 (it was years ago, people!), so never used these websites :/
Hopefully it puts you on the way, and you can also make gifs from videos with gifninja.

I cannot believe that Sarah is in here! Big Hips, Red Lips is one of my favorite blogs and she is one of my IDOLS. She’s so cute and rad! Everything here is absolutely, absolutely perfect! I loved seeing such a wide range and diversity of people in this photo shoot, and EVERYTHING WAS GORG.
