Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

Log in to replyOh Olivia! These are beautiful! I love them all so much! My favourites are #4, #6 and #7! Just wondering, what kind of camera do you use and on what setting? Do you edit your photos afterwards, or are you just that good? ;)

Log in to replyI love absence of people in these photos. I also noticed that the sun is in the center of most of these photos. It that on purpose? Is that a photographic technique? I really feel that it brings these pieces together and unifies them, like a reminder that the same sun is shining on so many things.
