Hello, you. June’s theme will be LONGING. Unlike more-acute forms of desire like desperation or need, longing is a sweet ache—more pining for something than dying for it. It’s nostalgia, homesickness, boredom, a persistent feeling of lack, dreaming of escape/the future. It’s summer: summer homes & cottages, stuffy summer bedrooms, sun-bleached memories of summers past. The shadow of September that hangs over June. It’s secret hangouts, crushes, unrequited love. Send what you’ve got here, and thanks. ♥

#16 was a still from B.o.B ft. Taylor Swift’s “Both Of Us” music video. It’s an amazing song/video.

I love #26. This has become my favorite part of the end of the month since I found Rookie.
Log in to replyI really likes the “Flower Colours” picture even though that spelling of colors bothers me immensely. I don’t know why.
Also, that Taylor Swift & B.o.B. song is pretty odd, don’t you think? Taylor is all graceful & pretty-sounding then B.o.B. is like RAP RAP RAP RAP RAP. It’s a weird mix.
