Cold Mountain

Last month my friends and I went camping in Nevado de Colima National Park, which is about three hours from where we live. There are two active volcanos in the park, and I got a little scared when the ranger told us that there was a “possibility of eruption,” but that if they detected “imminent danger” they would ring an alarm and we’d have five to ten minutes to get away safely. But it ended up being a lovely trip. Vinicio (my dog) got to eat a lot of sausages, we slept in a tent with lots of covers, we played in the snow with glitter and little stars, and we took all kinds of fun pictures. When we left the next day my heart was full. I felt so happy and lucky to have these friends; they’re the most amazing humans I have ever met.
Art direction by me and María Rangel Isas. Purple dress for two by María Rangel Isas. Thanks to my buddies Citlalli, María, Zaid, Gibran, and Manolin for letting me stick my camera in their faces.

AHHH these are amazing. I especially like 14, 18, and 20.
