the girl in 4 is absolutely stunning ;_;
omg your username! <3
it is legit my favourite album of all time :3c
I love the shot of the two ladies holding hands together. I hope someday I can be holding hands with my best friend in a park in my late 70s. That picture encompasses pure emotion and friendship. I also love the picture of the lady with the awesome blonde hair and print outfit she is wearing crossing the street. Seems like a shot out of a wes anderson movie.
OMG AND THAT HUGE BENCH?? UH-MAZINGGGGGG!!!
Overall Buenos Aires, looks like a place filled with warmth and friendly people. Every shot looks like they are having a great time. I hope to visit a place like that someday :) Great job Sandy!

People-watching is one of my favorite activities, especially while traveling. These are lovely. I can feel the heat of summer in each photo.
Also, I’m just curious, what kind of camera did you use for these?
These are really cool. I liked the oversized yellow bench in number six, and the sunlight streaming through the trees like that in number ten was GORGEOUS.
These photos are stunning! Love the title too is humans of New York is great. I was wondering what camera you used to take these ‘cos they’re beautiful

A picture in Brazil (11) !! Very nice!! I love this eye candy!!
I hope the photos were not taken these days or the girl from number 4 would have died from hypothermia. Anyways, they are great!
This might seem like a really random question, but what do you (non-biased people who don’t know me) think about tattoos? I’ve been wanting to get one for ages (v small, would be at the top of the back of my neck, so could be hidden by my long hair if I wanted). I know that my parents wouldn’t like it at all, but I am 18 and don’t need parental consent or anything to get one. I can’t decide whether I should just go for it or not..?! Anyone got any wisdom to impart on me?
i’m a tattoo enthusiast and i have two! i’m almost nineteen (my birthday’s in August) and luckily, my parents aren’t against it. i think if you really want it and it has a nice meaning to you, go for it! but if you think it’s going to be something your parents are going to fight intensely about, then don’t get it. you can always wait until you’ve moved out of their house – i personally don’t think it’s worth it if it’s going to negatively alter the relationship you have with them. but good luck with your decision! :)
Yeah, that makes sense. I might wait until Autumn when I move out. I guess a few months’ waiting doesn’t mean much when you are going to have it forever!
#4 & #6 are my favorites
Ridiculously excited that the city I live in is featured on the blog!! I loved the pictures, great job. Xx

Hey- nice shots. I know someone from my old neighborhood with those EXACT tattoos in the last photo. I wonder if she’s made her way to B.A….

amazing photos Sandy!
I love how you just put so many feelings into these pictures – you basically smell the water in the pool and feel the drops running down your chest, it’s freaking amazing.
these are great photos! the treatment and composition is awesomeee
Buenos Aires is hands-down the best people-watching city because of its 60s postcard feel which I think I’ve posted about before BUT IT IS TOO STRONG YOU GUYS.
(My uncle used to live in Palermo Soho before it got insanely expensive and popular and we’d always stay there.. too bad he moved back and sold his apartment :( )
مرحبا

Adore this photo set!! Definitely one of the best things i´ve seen in a while. Thank you so much for posting this
Really like this one! Just ordinary everyday life and people but captured in a whimsical way! I suppose normality can be stranger than it is sometimes…
This is my favourite album ever!
The first one is my absolute favorite.
Beautiful!
Sandy (or anyone), I’ve been getting in to photography lately and I never know whether, when I want to take a picture of a stranger, should I ask? If I just want a candid shot, is it ok to just take it without asking? I want to be polite but I also want to take interesting photos if you know what I mean. This photoset was really beautiful and just made me wonder xx
I hardly ever ask. If you do, they become self-conscious and lose whatever attracted me to photograph them in the first place
Love #1, #2, #5 and#7! This is such a beautiful photoset!!
Love these. I stopped at every picture and imagined the story of those people. Especially for the one with the two old ladies. That makes me cry.
You’ve captured something mundane and magical. I love taking to foreigners about my hometown, because people from other places see Buenos Aires as a place for adventure, the look at it under the same romantic light I always have.
This is a quote from a short story I like “No me conmovían secretos monumentos de nuestro amor, repentinamente manifestados en lo más íntimo de la memoria; me conmovía la enfática luz que entraba por la ventana, la luz de Buenos Aires.” Adolfo Bioy Casares.
These pieces are absolutely wonderful! Can you tell me which camera & film were used to take them? The colors are just amazing.
I live in Buenos Aires!!! Such a lovely city and very pretty faces as well <3
